It started with a bag I kept describing to people - sharp enough for a client meeting, tough enough for the gym, with a top pocket I could zip off and take to lunch. It didn't exist. I'm a designer; my brother and I grew up in Kenya, where we learned you make things properly or not at all. So we made it ourselves.
Every prototype rode on my back through commutes, gyms, and airports until it stopped annoying me — and 800+ Workpacks later, most sold because someone showed theirs to a friend, that's still the test. We don't release anything we wouldn't carry. We're not here to be everywhere. We're here to be carried every day.
